A law firm seeks an experienced Attorney to join its Personal Injury team in Southfield, MI. This hybrid role is ideal for a legal professional with at least 5 years of experience in Michigan auto and no-fault law, who is eager to engage in litigation and courtroom activities.

Duties

  • Manage pre-suit and litigation processes for auto and no-fault cases.
  • Conduct depositions, including those of doctors, and effectively argue motions in court.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings and case summaries.
  • Prepare for and participate in trials, demonstrating strong advocacy skills.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, prioritizing their needs and ensuring excellent service.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve successful case outcomes.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active Michigan Bar License.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in personal injury law, specifically auto and no-fault cases.
  • Strong experience in conducting depositions and trial preparations.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a courtroom setting with a proactive, performance-oriented attitude.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Michigan State Bar.
