A law firm in New Orleans, LA, is seeking a Worker's Compensation Defense Attorney with a strong background in worker's compensation law. The ideal candidate will represent employers and insurance carriers in defense of claims, providing strategic advice and counsel throughout the legal process.

 

Duties:

  • Represent employers and insurance carriers in worker's compensation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations on behalf of clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in cases.
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on worker's compensation matters.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to achieve client objectives and deliver exceptional service.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Valid license to practice law in Louisiana.
  • Proven experience in worker's compensation defense.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
