Job Overview:

A reputable law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Wilmington, NC office to support its residential real estate and community association (HOA/condo) practice. This position is ideal for a motivated attorney looking to grow professionally while maintaining a balanced work environment.

Location:

Duties:

• Provide legal services related to residential real estate and community associations (HOAs/condos).
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Counsel clients on matters related to real estate transactions and community association governance.
• Represent clients in legal proceedings, if necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the firm's expansion in the Wilmington area.

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in North Carolina (dual licensure in South Carolina is a plus but not mandatory).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to speak effectively to groups.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgment.
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar.
