Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a substantial caseload in creditor's rights, ensuring effective and timely resolution of cases.
  • Engage in discovery practices, including preparing and handling depositions and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Participate in court appearances, representing the firm’s interests and advocating for clients.
  • Foster relationships within the legal community to establish the firm as a trusted advisor and partner for clients and colleagues.
  • Assist in expanding the firm’s presence in the industry, contributing to its reputation as a leading law practice.
  • Demonstrate expertise in appellate procedures and regulations about TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code.
  • Collaborate with team members, providing mentorship and guidance to foster a cooperative working environment.
  • Exercise sound judgment and analytical skills to navigate complex legal challenges while delivering superior client service.
  • Remain up-to-date with developments in the Arkansas legal system and relevant laws.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Arkansas State Bar and eligibility to practice in Arkansas federal district and bankruptcy courts.
  • A minimum of 5 years of litigation experience preferred; newly licensed attorneys will also be considered.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple cases effectively and efficiently within the legal domain.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a focus on collaboration and team dynamics.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for various audiences.
  • High analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to legal matters.
