Junior to Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney

A national law firm is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of experience to join its litigation practice in Texas, with hybrid work arrangements available in Dallas. Candidates based elsewhere in Texas may also work remotely. The ideal candidate will have experience in complex commercial litigation or general liability defense and will be ready to take on significant responsibilities, including large-scale discovery and depositions. Duties:

• Handle complex commercial litigation and general liability defense cases.
• Work on matters such as construction defect, tort litigation, product liability, premises liability, and automobile liability.
• Manage large-scale discovery processes, including document review and depositions.
• Draft and review legal documents, including complex opinions and motions.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and depositions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trial.
• Opportunity to engage in appellate matters, including drafting briefs and handling appeals (optional).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience in commercial litigation or general liability defense.
• Experience in areas such as construction defect, tort litigation, product liability, premises liability, or automobile liability is preferred.
• Strong written communication skills, with experience drafting complex motions and legal opinions.
• Ability to manage cases independently, including large-scale discovery and depositions.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Texas State Bar is required.
