Job Overview:
A law firm in the Greater Seattle Area is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with experience in employment law, business law, and general legal counseling. This role involves advising clients, negotiating legal matters, and handling a broad range of employment and labor issues. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, research, and advocacy skills, along with a client-focused approach to legal representation. Bilingual fluency in Korean is a plus, though not required.

Location:

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice to clients on employment, labor, and general legal matters

  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, letters, and compliance materials

  • Conduct legal research and analyze laws, regulations, and case precedents

  • Represent clients in negotiations, administrative hearings, and dispute resolutions

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters and litigation strategy

  • Maintain detailed case files and communicate regularly with clients

  • Assist in business law matters including entity formation and general counsel services

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in labor and employment law, preferably in a law firm setting

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client-service mindset

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active bar admission in the State of Washington or California (required)

Skills:

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities
