Duties

  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on employment-related issues, including hiring, terminations, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, trade secrets, managing employees, leaves of absence, and wage and hour law.
  • Draft and review employment-related documents such as employee handbooks, nondisclosure agreements, arbitration agreements, and separation agreements.
  • Represent clients in litigation involving wrongful termination, class and representative actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and breach of contract.
  • Independently identify legal issues, anticipate necessary next steps, and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Conduct thorough legal and factual research, including investigative work.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed work product with high attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and provide support in managing client matters.
  • Stay current on developments in employment law and integrate new knowledge into practice.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of employment law experience, including litigation and advisory roles.
  • Experience in advising clients on employment issues and drafting relevant documents.
  • Proven ability to manage client matters with minimal supervision.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional legal and factual/investigative research skills.
