Insurance Litigation Attorney

A law firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Insurance Litigation Attorney to join their team in Riverside, CA. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in title insurance litigation, insurance coverage, general real estate, and business litigation. This role requires the ability to independently manage cases, strong law and motion skills, and excellent writing and analytical abilities.

Key Duties:

• Handle title insurance litigation, insurance coverage disputes, and general real estate and business litigation cases.
• Independently manage a caseload from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions effectively.
• Prepare and draft dispositive motions.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
• Develop and implement legal strategies tailored to clients' needs and goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in trial preparation and potentially act as lead counsel in trials.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to team projects and firm initiatives.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Proven ability to manage cases independently.
• Excellent law and motion skills.
• Superior writing and analytical skills.
• Experience in taking and defending depositions.
• Experience in drafting dispositive motions.
• Admission to practice law in California is required.
• Trial experience is a plus.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
