Job Overview:
A growing law firm is seeking a seasoned Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join its team in Raleigh, NC. This role involves handling sophisticated real estate transactions for national clients, including drafting and negotiating leases and purchase agreements. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation, communication, and drafting skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. This is a full-time position offering a competitive compensation package, with the option for hybrid or remote work for non-local candidates.

Location:

  • Raleigh, NC

Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate commercial leases and purchase agreements.
  • Conduct legal due diligence, including title and survey review and analysis.
  • Draft title objection letters and legal memoranda summarizing title, development, and legal risk issues.
  • Draft and negotiate Declarations, Reciprocal Access Agreements, Utility Easements, and other legal real estate documents.
  • Obtain third-party consents as necessary.
  • Advise on legal issues related to site acquisition and development.
  • Coordinate and conduct commercial real estate closings.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate law.
  • Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work well in a team-based environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or eligible to be admitted.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal drafting and negotiation.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage complex real estate transactions.
