Associate Attorney (Criminal, Family, and Probate Law)

Duties:

• Represent clients in criminal, family, and probate law matters, handling cases from initial consultation through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for court filings.
• Appear in court and advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and advice on case strategy.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Uphold the firm’s values by providing high-quality representation and maintaining professionalism in all client interactions.

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of courtroom experience as an attorney.
• An active member in good standing with the Alabama Bar, with no prior or pending disciplinary actions.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Passion for serving criminal defense, family law, and probate clients.
• Familiarity with legal practice management software, particularly Clio, in a Windows environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Alabama Bar License required.
