Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm based in Auburn, CA is seeking a detail-oriented and personable Associate Attorney with at least three years of legal experience, particularly in estate planning and trust administration. Business law experience is an asset. The position combines transactional work with potential litigation opportunities and offers a balanced work environment.

Duties:

• Develop and administer comprehensive estate plans and trust arrangements.
• Ensure timely filings by managing legal deadlines.
• Collaborate with financial and legal professionals to achieve client goals.
• Represent clients in negotiations, advocacy, and court proceedings as needed.
• Conduct thorough legal research using advanced tools such as Lexis-Nexis.
• Draft contracts, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Attend client meetings and legal conferences to provide counsel.
• Address various legal administrative tasks to support case management.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning and trust administration.
• Experience in business law is highly preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of California.
