Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly motivated Immigration Litigation Attorney to join its fast-growing immigration practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of immigration experience and be able to manage a high-volume caseload. This position involves handling litigation and legal advocacy on a broad spectrum of immigration-related issues, including court hearings and trials. The role is remote and offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

  • Silver Spring, MD

Duties:

  • Coordinate case and legal strategy across multiple immigration cases.
  • Prepare and revise court documents, including motions, briefs, and memoranda.
  • Conduct legal research on immigration laws and keep updated on legislative changes and judicial decisions.
  • Handle court hearings, trials, and other immigration-related litigation.
  • Manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Engage in marketing the firm’s services to potential clients.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active Bar License in good standing from any U.S. state or Puerto Rico.
  • Minimum of 1 year of immigration experience.
  • Fluent in Spanish (required).
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active and in good standing with any U.S. state or Puerto Rico Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Business acumen and the ability to work efficiently in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
