Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a skilled and compassionate Family Law Attorney to join its team in Arlington, TX. The successful candidate will handle a range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, alimony, paternity, and adoption. Duties

  • Draft various family law documents, such as petitions, divorce decrees, custody arrangements, motions, trial briefs, and mediation letters.
  • Prepare clients for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
  • Attend and represent clients at hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Manage a significant caseload efficiently while maintaining excellent client service.
  • Provide support and communicate regularly with clients, ensuring they are well informed and comfortable throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure smooth case progression.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing family law.
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Texas.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients.
  • Proficiency with case management software or willingness to learn.
  • Ethical, compassionate, and committed to delivering high-quality client service.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
