A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney with a strong background in labor and employment law. The candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, negotiating, and handling various labor and employment law matters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in labor and employment law matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on labor and employment issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
  • Prepare legal briefs, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
  • Advise clients on compliance with labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client management.
  • Maintain client relationships and provide ongoing legal support.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar; additional admission in other states is a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience in labor and employment law, preferably with a focus on workers' compensation.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, as needed.

Certifications and Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Experience with document management and legal drafting.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
