Duties:

• Draft and prosecute patent applications across various technical domains, including electrical engineering and software.
• Manage patent portfolios, advising clients on intellectual property strategies.
• Represent clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Assist with patent litigation matters, including legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing for trials.
• Collaborate with technical experts and engineers to understand and communicate complex technology.
• Stay updated on evolving trends and developments in the patent prosecution and litigation space.

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of experience in intellectual property, with a focus on patent prosecution and litigation.
• Strong technical background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience in design engineering, preferably with a chip company, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with networking, software, and wireless network technologies (3G/4G/5G) is preferred.
• Must be admitted to practice before the USPTO.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field is required.

Certifications:

• Admitted to the USPTO as a registered Patent Agent or Attorney.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
