Job Overview: A top-tier global law firm is seeking a highly motivated Mid-Senior Level Real Estate Hospitality Associate to join its Orlando, FL office. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in commercial real estate transactions, with a strong preference for hospitality-related work. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior shareholders and gain extensive transactional experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Location:

  • Orlando, FL 

Duties:

  • Handle commercial real estate transactions, including hospitality-focused deals such as hotels, resorts, and timeshares.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate letters of intent, purchase and sale agreements, leases, subleases, and financing documents.
  • Manage deal closings and conduct due diligence, including title work.
  • Work on joint venture agreements, real estate financing, and other aspects of transactional real estate law.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to anticipate and meet the needs of complex transactions.

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of experience in commercial real estate, with a background in hospitality transactions preferred.
  • Experience in banking, loan transactions, joint ventures, and shared ownership real estate is a plus.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage complex transactions independently.
  • Admission to the D.C. Bar, or ability to be admitted promptly.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active member of the D.C. Bar, or eligible for admission.

Skills:

  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage large and complex transactions.
  • Proficiency in hospitality, real estate, and joint venture law.
  • High energy, creativity, and a client-focused approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
