A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its growing team in Cheyenne, WY. The firm offers a diverse and dynamic environment, handling a variety of practice areas, including business, corporate law, litigation, banking and finance, energy, natural resources, estate planning, technology, and regulatory matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with experience in these areas or who has completed a judicial clerkship. Duties:

  • Case Management: Handle a diverse range of cases across multiple practice areas, including business, corporate, litigation, banking/finance, energy, natural resources, estate planning, technology, and regulatory law.
  • Legal Research and Writing: Conduct in-depth legal research and draft legal documents, including briefs, memoranda, and other written materials.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to provide legal advice and keep them informed on the progress of their cases.
  • Court Appearances: Participate in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings as required.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior attorneys and other team members, contributing to case strategies and client solutions.
  • Team Engagement: Demonstrate a team-oriented approach, collaborating with colleagues to achieve successful outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior experience in one or more of the following practice areas is preferred: business law, corporate law, litigation, banking and finance, energy, natural resources, estate planning, technology, or regulatory matters.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on legal research, writing, and client interaction.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work well in a team and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated with the ability to manage a variety of tasks and responsibilities independently and efficiently.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Wyoming (or eligible for admission).
