Job Title: Evictions Attorney

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney specializing in eviction matters to join its team in Chattanooga, TN. This role involves managing a high-volume caseload, guiding clients through eviction procedures, and representing them in legal proceedings. The ideal candidate is licensed in California, with additional Bar licenses preferred. Remote work options are available.

Duties:

  • Manage eviction cases, provide legal advice, and conduct legal research
  • Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests
  • Represent clients during court hearings and related legal proceedings
  • Monitor and adapt to changes in eviction law and share relevant insights with clients

Requirements:

  • Active membership with the California State Bar, with other state Bar licenses, preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience practicing law; experience in eviction, foreclosure, or litigation is beneficial

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Skills:

  • Proficient in legal research, drafting, and communication
  • Strong advocacy, negotiation, and client relations skills
  • Organizational and time management skills for handling a fast-paced caseload
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and firm-specific case management tools
