Duties:

• Manage all aspects of personal injury cases from start to finish
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies
• Investigate cases and injuries, meet with clients, and attend court hearings
• Argue motions and participate in settlement negotiations
• Try cases as both 1st and 2nd chair in jury trials
• Review medical records and collaborate with expert witnesses
• Work closely with a large support staff to manage case workflows
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and client management

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in Washington (additional states may be a plus)
• Strong experience or aptitude for litigation and jury trials
• Proven ability to manage a caseload with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Fluency in Spanish is a significant advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in Washington (and additional states preferred)

Skills:

• Litigation and trial experience
• Case management and client relations
• Legal research and document preparation
• Strong negotiation and settlement skills
• Spanish language skills (preferred)
• Public speaking and courtroom presentation
