A law firm is seeking a Generalist Associate Attorney for its Los Angeles, CA, location. The ideal candidate will work across multiple practice areas, including Business Facilities & Real Estate, Labor & Employment, Students & Special Education, Higher Education, and Litigation.

Job Overview:

The Generalist Associate Attorney will handle a diverse caseload and provide comprehensive legal support across various practice areas. The role requires excellent research, writing, and analytical skills and 5 years of practice experience. Applicants must be a members of the State Bar of California.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis in multiple practice areas.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
  • Assist with case management, including client intake, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and client meetings as necessary.
  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in diverse matters.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of various areas of law, including Business Facilities & Real Estate, Labor & Employment, Students & Special Education, Higher Education, and Litigation.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
