A prominent law firm is seeking a Life Sciences Transactions Resource Attorney to support its Life Sciences Partnering & Licensing practice. This non-billable role is focused on enhancing attorney efficiency, maintaining high-quality legal resources, and supporting innovation within the practice group. The position is ideal for a detail-oriented and collaborative attorney with a background in life sciences transactions or related corporate work.

Location

Duties

  • Template & Precedent Management

    • Draft, annotate, update, and automate template documents and customized agreements

    • Curate and organize legal forms, precedents, and internal knowledge resources

  • Education & Training

    • Collaborate with internal legal education teams to develop and deliver training programs and materials

  • Legal & Regulatory Updates

    • Monitor industry-related legal developments (biotech, medtech, healthtech, digital health)

    • Prepare legal alerts and ensure compliance with new requirements across practice resources

  • Thought Leadership

    • Create content for internal and external publications, conferences, and industry-facing materials

  • Attorney Support

    • Respond to internal attorney requests for templates, precedents, and reference materials

  • New Initiatives

    • Contribute to knowledge management, practice innovation, and legal tech projects

  • Process Coordination

    • Coordinate cross-practice updates and reviews of internal legal tools and publications

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in life sciences commercial transactions or

  • At least 5 years of corporate or in-house legal experience focused on the life sciences sector

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state (in good standing)

Skills

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Excellent legal drafting and analytical skills

  • Ability to handle multiple, complex projects simultaneously

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with creative problem-solving abilities
