Duties

• Conduct pre-lawsuit investigations and case analysis
• Manage discovery processes, including written discovery, depositions, and other court appearances
• Draft, review, and file motions and legal documents
• Represent clients in arbitration, mediation, and trials
• Engage in legal research and writing on a broad spectrum of issues
• Analyze and litigate insurance coverage matters

Requirements

• 3-5 years of litigation experience
• Insurance coverage experience is a plus.
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, creative thinking, and effective project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a collegial team environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the Illinois Bar
