Job Overview:
A leading law firm in Monterey County is seeking an experienced Business/Real Estate Associate Attorney to join their team. The firm is looking for a candidate with a strong background in business and real estate law, including corporate governance, entity formations, mergers and acquisitions, real property transactions, and contract review. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and team-oriented professional with excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Location:

Duties:

  • Advise clients on corporate governance, entity formations, mergers and acquisitions.
  • Handle real property transactions, including contract review and negotiations.
  • Provide legal counsel on general corporate law matters.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Independently manage client matters and provide exceptional legal services.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide guidance to junior attorneys as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant legal experience in business and real estate law.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member of the State Bar of California.
  • Strong organizational, writing, verbal, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage client relationships.
  • Team-focused approach to legal practice.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the State Bar of California.
