• Conduct thorough legal research and develop case strategies

• Negotiate plea agreements and settlements on behalf of clients
• Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and case precedents relevant to criminal law practice

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the state of California (California State Bar)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in practicing criminal law in California
• Strong oral advocacy skills and courtroom presence
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a legal team
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
