This position requires a skilled professional with a solid understanding of insurance coverage and commercial litigation. The role offers a chance to handle complex claims and high-stakes coverage and reinsurance matters for insurers, focusing on professional liability, general liability, and directors' and officers' insurance policies.

Duties:

• Manage and represent clients in complex insurance and reinsurance litigation cases.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery documents.
• Conduct discovery and discovery motion practice.
• Perform depositions and represent clients in court appearances, depending on experience level.
• Independently manage cases and provide legal guidance to clients.
• Engage in business development and client management activities.
• Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to deliver effective solutions for clients.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Proven experience handling matters related to professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers' insurance.
• Strong background in civil litigation with the ability to draft legal documents, manage discovery, and represent clients in depositions and court.
• Experience in business development, client relations, and managing cases independently.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in the state of Delaware.
