Job Title: Bankruptcy Associate Attorney
Job Overview: A prominent law firm is actively looking for a dedicated and skilled Bankruptcy Associate Attorney to join their team in Tuscaloosa, AL. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work out of either the Birmingham or Tuscaloosa office, with the requirement to visit Tuscaloosa at least twice a week to handle court appearances and office responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing the Tuscaloosa office, meeting clients for initial consultations, and handling various stages of bankruptcy cases.
Duties:
Manage the Tuscaloosa office and assist with court appearances in the local area.
Lead client consultations and offer expert advice regarding bankruptcy filings.
Oversee the filing and post-filing process for bankruptcy cases.
Ensure smooth operation of office functions and maintain efficient case management.
Collaborate with team members to provide high-quality legal services to clients.
Requirements:
Licensed to practice law in Alabama.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in computer and technical systems.
High level of organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong team-oriented mindset and a client-first approach.
Reliability, punctuality, and dependability are essential.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the state of Alabama.
Certifications:
Certification to practice law in Alabama.
Skills:

Strong attention to detail and organizational prowess.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of bankruptcy law is a plus, but not required.
