A leading law firm is seeking a Mergers and Acquisitions Associate Attorney with at least five years of experience to join its Wilmington, DE office. This position involves working on various corporate and alternative entity transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and private equity investments.

Location

  • Wilmington, DE 

Duties

  • Manage corporate and alternative entity transactions.
  • Conduct research and analyze transactional situations.
  • Review general contracts and corporate governance matters.
  • Provide legal opinions related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with business staff, owners, executives, and opposing counsel.

Requirements

  • JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Minimum of five years of corporate experience with substantial mergers and acquisitions experience.
  • Experience in a large law firm's business/corporate group.
  • Admission to the Delaware bar or the ability to become admitted.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Delaware bar admission (preferred).
