A law firm in Tampa, FL is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, with a preference for experience in labor and employment law. The role demands the ability to handle all aspects of litigation independently or as part of a team, excellent communication and writing skills, and the capacity to proactively organize and prioritize their caseload. A Florida law license is required.

Duties:

  • Manage all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, and trial.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and court appearances.
  • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to advance cases.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on litigation matters.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure effective case management.
  • Analyze legal issues and provide strategic recommendations based on case facts and legal precedents.
  • Prepare and present compelling arguments in court and other legal proceedings.
  • Manage case files and ensure adherence to deadlines and court rules.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in litigation, with a preference for labor and employment law experience.
  • Proven ability to handle all aspects of litigation independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
  • Capacity to proactively prioritize and manage a diverse caseload.
  • Florida law license required.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar.
