Labor and Employment Associate Attorney

A law firm in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience. The ideal candidate should have strong research, analytical, and writing skills. A license to practice law in Wisconsin is a prerequisite for this role.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research on labor and employment law issues.
• Analyze statutes, regulations, and case law to provide legal advice to clients.
• Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings.
• Provide counsel to employers on compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws.
• Assist with investigations into employment-related complaints and allegations.
• Draft and review employment agreements, employee handbooks, and other employment-related documents.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client matters.
• Stay informed about developments in labor and employment law.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• License to practice law in Wisconsin.
• 2+ years of experience in employment law.
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Knowledge of state and federal labor and employment laws.
• Experience representing clients in labor and employment matters.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:
