Law & Motion Attorney Employment Law (Hybrid)

Job Overview:

A law firm seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Law & Motion Attorney to join its team in Beverly Hills. This role focuses on employment litigation, requiring a candidate with strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills. The selected attorney will play a crucial role in case strategy, motion practice, and legal analysis while working within a dynamic and fast-paced legal environment. This hybrid position offers flexibility while allowing for direct collaboration with a skilled legal team.

Duties:

• Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including settlement agreements, class notices, and correspondence.

• Prepare and refine legal motions, such as motions for preliminary and final approval and PAGA approval.

• Develop and submit supplemental briefing and declarations in support of employment law motions.

• Collaborate on joint case management and status conference statements.

• Attend case management conferences, status conferences, and motion hearings.

• Maintain timely and effective communication with clients.

• Coordinate with settlement administrators regarding case resolution and disbursements.

• Track key deadlines related to settlement administration and case progression.

• Analyze and review settlement administrator reports and declarations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in employment litigation.

• Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently.

• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the state of California.
