Mid to Senior level Tax Associate Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, seeks an experienced Mid to Senior level Tax Associate Attorney with 5-8 years of experience. The role primarily involves transactional tax work, collaborating closely with securities and finance lawyers, alongside engagement with investment bankers, financial advisors, and government officials across the nation.

Duties:

• Provide legal guidance on transactional tax matters, including structuring and planning.
• Conduct thorough research on tax laws, regulations, and case precedents.
• Draft, review, and negotiate tax-related documents, agreements, and contracts.
• Develop and execute tax strategies tailored to client objectives and needs.
• Represent clients in tax-related negotiations, audits, and disputes.

Requirements:

• Admission to the California State Bar.
• 5-8 years of experience in tax law practice.
• Strong understanding of transactional tax matters and associated legal principles.
• Experience in tax issues related to public finance, tax-exempt organizations, or similar areas preferred.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the California State Bar.
