This full-time, permanent role is based in Fort Lauderdale, where collaboration with a global team is at the heart of daily operations. Duties:

  • Lead the development of litigation strategies and manage client communication.
  • Draft legal documents such as reports, pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and trials.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and opposing counsel throughout the litigation process.
  • Maintain effective case management and ensure timely progression of legal matters.
  • Provide mentorship and contribute to the firm’s business development initiatives.
  • Engage in professional development activities to further enhance litigation skills.

Requirements:

  • Active admission to practice law in Florida; additional admissions in other states would be a plus.
  • Proven experience in litigation, including drafting legal documents and handling depositions.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team setting.
  • Capacity for independent decision-making while adhering to firm procedures and best practices.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Florida Bar admission (required). Additional state certifications are beneficial.
