A law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with exceptional academic achievements and solid law firm experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Hatch Waxman litigation, superior writing and communication skills, and a preference for those with technical degrees in chemistry, biology, or related fields. This role includes drafting legal briefs, managing all aspects of fact and expert discovery, and contributing to the development of litigation strategies.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and revise legal briefs, motions, and other litigation documents.
  • Manage and participate in all phases of fact and expert discovery.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies, with a focus on Hatch Waxman cases.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and provide detailed analysis to support case preparation.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with clients, expert witnesses, and other legal professionals to build and present cases.
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Provide detailed legal advice and regular updates to clients regarding case progress and strategies.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3+ years of experience in Hatch Waxman litigation.
  • Proven experience in drafting legal documents and managing discovery processes.
  • High level of academic achievement and substantial law firm experience.
  • Preference for candidates with technical degrees in chemistry, biology, or related fields.

Education:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Florida State Bar (or ability to obtain licensure).

Skills:
