The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of immigration laws and demonstrate exceptional research, analytical, and communication skills. This role involves legal representation before immigration courts and government agencies, along with preparing and reviewing legal documents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients on a wide range of immigration issues.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed legal documents.
  • Represent clients in immigration court and before government agencies.
  • Stay current on changes in immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Advise clients on visa applications, asylum claims, deportation defense, and other immigration matters.
  • Prepare and submit petitions, applications, and other required documentation.
  • Develop and execute effective legal strategies for immigration cases.

  • Maintain accurate case files and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in immigration law.
  • Proven experience in representing clients in immigration court and before government agencies.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluency and proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.

Certifications:
