Charleston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a foreclosure associate attorney with 3+ years of experience representing creditors in foreclosures, evictions, and/or title proceedings, or a strong desire to learn these practice areas. The candidate will serve in the preparation of pleadings and motions. Will have court appearances for motions, conferences, and mediations. Legal research and writing. Written and oral communication with clients, outside counsel, and Court personnel, among others. Serve in general litigation matters. Should preferably have creditor-side bankruptcy experience, as is litigation experience. Experience drafting pleadings, appearing in court, and researching legal issues is essential. Must be admitted to practice in South Carolina, including respective federal district courts. Admitted to practice in other states is a plus. A portable book of business is a plus.
The candidate must have the ability to prioritize and manage numerous tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, communicate professionally at all times, be effective working independently and as part of a team, and provide exceptional customer service. Leadership and management skills are strongly preferred. Should have a positive, respectful, growth-oriented mentality. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. Must have a strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize a high-volume workload.
