Job Overview:

A law firm is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join its Corporate and Commercial Real Estate Transactions practice. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 4 years of experience in commercial real estate, corporate, and financial transactional matters, including lender transaction representation and closings. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong negotiation and communication skills who is looking to grow in a supportive environment with a client-focused approach.

Location:

  • Alexandria, VA

Duties:

  • Assist in corporate and commercial real estate transactions, including lender transaction representation and closings.
  • Provide support in drafting and reviewing transaction documents.
  • Engage in negotiations and facilitate successful deal closures.
  • Offer high-level client service and build strong client relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and clients to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Participate in general transactional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in commercial real estate, corporate, and financial transactional work.
  • Must be admitted to the Maryland Bar (D.C. Bar and/or Virginia Bar is a plus).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and drafting skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Superior client-service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Maryland Bar is required. D.C. Bar and/or Virginia Bar are a plus.
