Personal Injury Associate Attorney

A law firm in Glendale, CA is seeking a highly motivated Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will work closely with experienced attorneys, gaining hands-on experience in personal injury law. This role involves assisting with personal injury cases from intake through resolution, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and participating in client meetings. The candidate will collaborate on case strategy, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in depositions, hearings, and trials. The position requires a commitment to client advocacy and achieving justice, along with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in handling personal injury cases from initial intake through resolution.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss case progress and strategy.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies to negotiate settlements.
• Attend and represent clients in depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California.
• 1-3 years of experience in personal injury law is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Passion for advocating for clients and achieving justice.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
