Duties:

  • Handle workers' compensation and civil litigation cases, representing clients in administrative agencies, trial courts, and appellate courts in Wisconsin.

  • Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings on behalf of clients.
  • Provide clear and concise legal advice to clients regarding their cases and options.
  • Assist with the preparation and presentation of cases in trial and appellate courts.
  • Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is organized and up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in workers' compensation and civil litigation matters.
  • Familiarity with family law and employment law is beneficial.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and work effectively under deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, to interact with clients and colleagues.
  • A team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate with other attorneys and staff members.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Wisconsin.

  • Strong litigation skills, including the ability to handle hearings and depositions.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
