The ideal candidate will bring over six years of experience in counseling employers and handling a wide range of labor and employment issues. Duties:

  • Counsel employers on various labor and employment issues, including hiring, discipline, termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, restrictive covenants, and wage and hour matters.
  • Draft and review employment policies offer letters, employment agreements, and separation agreements.
  • Advise on labor and employment aspects of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Potentially litigate labor and employment issues.
  • Collaborate closely with experienced attorneys and engage in active mentoring.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in labor and employment law.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality client service.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in Washington State.
