A law firm based in Miami is seeking a Mid-level Antitrust and Class Action Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in antitrust and class action defense litigation. The role requires significant experience with Federal Court litigation. Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills, along with an excellent academic background, are essential. Bar admission is required for the jurisdiction of practice.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to antitrust and class action defense litigation matters.
  • Draft and prepare various legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and assist in case management.
  • Manage the discovery process, including document review, production, and responses.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Maintain organized and accurate case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties involved in the litigation process.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity or examination.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in antitrust and class action defense litigation.
  • Preferred significant experience with Federal Court litigation.
  • Strong academic background with coursework relevant to litigation practice.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity or examination.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research methodologies and resources.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft persuasive legal documents.
