A well-established law firm in Newport Beach, CA is seeking an experienced Probate and Trust Litigation Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation with at least 5 years of experience, specifically in probate and trust matters. Duties:

  • Manage a diverse caseload and lead litigation efforts from inception to resolution.
  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff, offering guidance and support.
  • Handle all aspects of probate and trust litigation, including client communications, document preparation, discovery, and trial procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to strategize and execute complex legal actions.
  • Ensure the timely and efficient handling of cases, meeting all deadlines and requirements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on probate and trust matters.
  • Proven ability to manage cases independently and lead litigation from start to finish.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring junior staff and attorneys.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the State Bar of California.
