A law firm in Henderson, NV is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Associate Attorney to manage a diverse caseload of personal injury claims. The ideal candidate will work closely with other attorneys to develop case strategies, conduct legal research, and lead case management teams to effectively represent clients. Responsibilities will include managing all phases of personal injury cases from intake to settlement, including pre-litigation, case investigation, and settlement negotiations.

Duties:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury claims from inception to settlement.
  • Conduct thorough case investigations to determine liability and damages.
  • Draft and file legal documents needed in pre-litigation.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
  • Provide exceptional client service, keeping clients informed about the progress of their cases.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys to develop case strategies and conduct legal research.
  • Lead case management teams to ensure effective representation of clients.
  • Prepare and review legal briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on pre-litigation.
  • Lawyer in good standing to practice law in the state of Nevada.
  • Excellent knowledge of state laws, regulations, and legal procedures related to personal injury cases.
  • Proven track record of successful case management and client representation.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Nevada State Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply legal precedents, statutes, and regulations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to draft and review legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
