Mid-Senior Level Health Care Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City, NY is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Health Care Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in health care regulatory and/or transactional law. The ideal candidate will have substantial knowledge of federal and state health care regulatory environments, strong document drafting skills, and the ability to manage complex projects. Preference will be given to candidates with experience at AmLaw 100 firms. Excellent academic credentials, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to client interaction are essential.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel to health-care focused clients on federal and state health care regulatory issues impacting transactions and day-to-day business operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements and documents related to health care transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage and oversee complex projects and matters related to health care regulatory compliance and transactional work.
• Mentor and supervise junior associates, providing guidance on legal matters and professional development.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client advice and case strategies.
• Maintain direct communication with senior partners and clients, providing updates and strategic recommendations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Admission to and active membership in the State Bar of New York.
• 4-6 years of experience practicing health care regulatory and/or transactional law.
• Comprehensive understanding of federal and state health care laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Demonstrated ability in sophisticated document drafting and negotiation.
• Outstanding academic credentials with strong writing and communication skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Admission to and active membership in the State Bar of New York.
