Location:

Duties:

• Handle a wide range of trusts and estates matters, including estate planning, administration, and litigation.

• Draft and review wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.

• Advise clients on estate planning strategies, tax implications, and probate matters.

• Represent clients in probate and trust administration matters.

• Assist in litigation involving contested estates, including will contests and fiduciary disputes.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and potential clients.

• Lead and mentor junior associates in trusts and estates practice.

• Collaborate with other practice areas and departments to support client needs.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

• Licensed to practice law in New York.

• 5+ years of experience in trusts and estates law.

• Strong ability to build rapport with clients and manage complex legal matters.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.

• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage a demanding workload.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Leadership potential and experience mentoring junior attorneys.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New York State Bar.
