Job Title: Junior To Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm in Austin, TX is seeking a Junior To Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-6 years of litigation experience to join its growing Litigation Team. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level associate to gain firsthand experience in all stages of litigation in state and federal courts, with a focus on complex commercial litigation, real estate disputes, construction litigation, and class-action matters.

Duties:

Assist in handling complex commercial litigation cases
Work on real estate disputes, construction litigation, and class-action matters
Participate in every stage of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, pleadings, and other legal documents
Collaborate with senior attorneys and provide support for trials and hearings
Engage in strategy development for multi-party, complex cases involving extensive discovery and nuanced issues
Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

2-6 years of litigation experience
Strong written and oral advocacy skills
Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters
Prior experience with multi-party litigation, discovery, and trial preparation is preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously
Admission to the Texas Bar (or eligibility for swift admission)

Education:

Graduate from a top law school

Certifications:

Admitted to practice law in Texas, or ability to become admitted quickly
