Job Overview

A highly regarded Texas law firm is seeking an Experienced Plaintiff Trial Attorney with significant expertise in personal injury cases. This role involves handling high-value cases, including those with corporate defendants and expert witnesses. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex cases within a collaborative team environment.

Duties

  • Manage and litigate a full caseload of high-value personal injury cases.
  • Serve as the first chair in plaintiff personal injury trials.
  • Conduct depositions, including those involving corporate defendants, liability experts, and medical experts.
  • Develop cases consistent with firm procedures and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced litigators and trial teams on major cases.
  • Utilize a state-of-the-art case management system and work with trained support staff.

Requirements

  • Significant first-chair trial experience in plaintiff personal injury cases.
  • Extensive experience with depositions, including complex cases involving experts and corporate entities.
  • Strong litigation skills with a focus on achieving results for clients.
  • Ability to handle high-stakes, high-value cases with insurance coverage exceeding $1M.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in Texas.

  • Expertise in personal injury litigation and trial proceedings.
  • Proficient in case development, strategy, and courtroom advocacy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
