Employment Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm specializing in employment litigation seeks a skilled Associate Attorney to join the San Diego, CA team. The ideal candidate will defend and litigate a variety of employment-related claims, provide counsel on labor law matters, and represent clients in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies.

Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad spectrum of employment-related claims and agency charges.
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
• Preferably possess Class Action/PAGA experience.
• Represent employers in court, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediation for employment matters, including class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete cases.

Requirements:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 4-6 years of experience in employment law strongly preferred.
• Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
• Understand current state and federal agency procedures related to employment law.
