A law firm in Carmel, IN is seeking a skilled Products Liability, Mass Torts, and Consumer Class Action Attorney with 3-6 years of law firm experience. The successful candidate will handle high-stakes pharmaceutical, medical device, and other complex products liability and class action litigation. The role requires excellent organizational, writing, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to manage complex cases and large-scale document reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in pharmaceutical, medical device, and other complex product liability and mass tort cases.
  • Lead and participate in consumer class action litigation, managing cases from inception through trial or settlement.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery documents.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including attending court hearings, taking and defending depositions, and managing expert witness preparation.
  • Analyze and manage large, complex document collections and coordinate discovery efforts.
  • Assist in developing case strategy and collaborate with senior attorneys on high-profile cases.
  • Engage in settlement negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations as necessary.
  • Provide legal counsel and updates to clients on case progress, strategies, and potential outcomes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to manage litigation timelines and deliver high-quality results under pressure.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • 3-6 years of law firm experience in products liability, mass torts, and/or consumer class action litigation.
    • Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or other complex product liability litigation is strongly preferred.
    • Proven ability to handle court hearings, depositions, and manage large document collections.
  • Education:
    • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Superior academic record is required.
  • Licensure and Certifications:
    • Active admission to the Indiana State Bar (IN Bar admission required).
