Key Duties:

  • Manage and litigate cases from inception through resolution, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop and execute effective case strategies.

  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of litigation experience with a proven ability to manage complex cases.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Experience in healthcare and/or energy litigation is preferred.
  • Licensed to practice law in West Virginia.
  • A strong interest and capability in appearing in court and handling a diverse range of litigation matters.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the West Virginia State Bar Association.
