Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience drafting litigation documents, appearing in state and federal courts, and managing complex litigation matters. Job Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products by firm standards.
• Successfully meet deadlines, manage client expectations, and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external stakeholders.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices, including ethical standards and confidentiality guidelines.
• Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including extensive computer work, digital/virtual conference calls, and occasional in-person meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned by senior management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney.
• Proven experience drafting litigation documents such as motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions.
• Demonstrated experience appearing in state and federal courts, strongly favoring multi-district litigation experience.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and sound business judgment.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including persuasive communication and the ability to influence others.
• Effective research and problem-solving abilities, coupled with conceptual thinking.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
